What is Female sexual dysfunction?
Female sexual dysfunction is the persistent or recurrent inability to attain or maintain sexual excitement. Sexual dysfunction includes:
• A lack of sexual desire
• An inability to become aroused
• Pain during sex

Female sexual disorder (FSD) occurs when a woman is continually unable to attain or maintain arousal and lubrication during intercourse, is unable to reach orgasm, or has no desire for sex. Female sexual dysfunction can occur in women at any age, but is typical after the menopause, when hormone production drops and vascular conditions are more common. • Past experience

• Negative body perception
• Stress, anxiety, and depression
Other causes include:
• Unskilled or uncaring partner
• Communication problems with partner
The fundamental factors behind FSD, occur during menopause, and result from hormonal factors. The levels of testosterone fall in women during this period and as a result they face sexual problems. Testosterone is a sex hormone. It had previously been believed that testosterone is only present in males. The fact that it has been discovered to be present in females as well has led to a new form of FSD treatment.

Treatment for Female Sexual Dysfunction:
